D&S Electric has served Central British Columbia since 1985, shaped by the many people who have worked here, served customers and contributed their skills to building its reputation.



That history represents years of relationships, lessons learned and workmanship passed from one generation to another. From homeowners and businesses to industries, municipalities, First Nations communities and remote projects, our purpose remains simple: serve people honestly, steward resources responsibly and do quality work that leaves lasting relationships.

Our Story

D&S Electric was founded in 1985 to provide dependable electrical service throughout Central British Columbia.

Since then, the company has grown through the combined efforts of the electricians, apprentices, estimators, administrators, project leaders and support staff who have contributed their knowledge, hard work and care over the years.

Some have spent many years with D&S. Others have been part of the company for a season before carrying what they learned into the next chapter of their lives. Each has contributed something to the story.



As the electrical industry and the needs of our region have changed, D&S Electric has continued to learn and grow; from residential service work into commercial, industrial, rural, remote and renewable-energy projects, while holding onto the principles that should never change: integrity, honesty, stewardship, accountability, service and respect for people.

We believe a business should be measured by more than what it earns or how large it becomes. It should be measured by how faithfully it cares for its customers, its people, its resources, its workmanship and the communities it has been given the opportunity to serve.
